While Talking about the scheme, the finance minister Atishi said: “Whether she is a college student in need of additional books, a job aspirant seeking coaching, or simply wishes to enjoy a movie in a cinema hall, women will no longer have to rely on others for financial support, as Arvind Kejriwal, their brother, will provide them with Rs 1,000 each month”.

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana
The eligible women will get the following benefits from Delhi Govt under the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana:-
- Rs 1,000/- per month will be provided by Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana.
- The financial benefits will be provided to 18 years or older women.
- Rs. 1,000/- per month will be directly transferred to the beneficiary bank account.
